Extra Garbage:

Your monthly rate pays for the collection of a set volume of garbage and unlimited recycling set out according to your solid waste guidelines. Currently, recycling services are available in a limited coverage area. We will be adding more service areas in the near future.

Any garbage that does not fit easily in your cart when the lid is closed must be paid for separately. The lid of your cart must be closed to prevent litter.

The easiest way to pay for extra garbage is to attach an “Extra Garbage Sticker” to each bag of extra garbage. “Extra Garbage Stickers” can be purchased at most local mini-markets and grocery stores, please contact us for a list of vendors in your area. Alternatively, you can also contact our office to have us bill you directly for the extra garbage. We will add the charges to your quarterly bill. Please make note of extra charges in your coupon book.

Bulk Items:

You just had a yard sale, but couldn’t unload that old couch or mattress. What can you do? Potts & Monger Sanitation can pick up most bulky household items. Here is a list of acceptable items that we can take and our disposal fees.

We strive not only to be the best sanitation company in the area, but also the most affordable. Occasionally, you may find another company that is slightly cheaper or offering “try us free services” but as we all know its never as good as it seems and you usually end up paying more in the end.

A lot of companies require you to sign a contract, but that is not the case with Potts & Monger Sanitation, Inc. We fully believe that if your not happy with your service, you should be able to change it or cancel it!

The price lists below are for the Tower City/ Muir, Wayne Township, South Manheim, and North Manheim areas. The price lists are also broken down into the two types of service we currently offer.

Bag Service:

This is our very basic service. No frills, no thrills just good dependable curbside collection of garbage bags and or cans. Bags and cans are limited to 32 gallon with a maximum weight allowance of 30 lbs each.

Helico Personal Backdoor Collection:

Helico (handicapped, elderly and low-income) service is available to residents who are physically unable to move their trash and/or recycling containers to the curb and who meet low-income guideline requirements.

Toter Service:

This is our deluxe service. All the frills and thrills you could expect while still providing good dependable curbside garbage collection. You may select from 3 different size cans to match your household needs. Our toters are available in 35 Gallon, 65 Gallon and our LARGE 95 Gallon.
